Discover the authentic heart of southern Vietnam on this immersive 3-day tour through the vibrant Mekong Delta, with an optional seamless transfer to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Begin your adventure with a hotel pick-up in Ho Chi Minh City and travel to Cai Be, where you'll cruise along the Tien River, explore lush orchard gardens, and visit traditional villages. Experience local life as you sample coconut fudge, enjoy Southern Vietnamese folk music, and paddle through picturesque canals.
For lunch, join a hands-on cooking experience in a local garden, then explore the island by bicycle, meet friendly villagers, and visit Ba Kiet’s historic house. Afterward, continue to Can Tho and check into your hotel for a restful evening.
Start your second day at the lively Cai Rang Floating Market, one of the Delta’s most colorful scenes, then discover a family-run noodle factory and the exquisite Munir Ansay Pagoda. Enjoy fresh seasonal fruits at a plantation before traveling on to Chau Doc. Here, you’ll explore the lush Tra Su Forest on a rowing boat, marvel at the diverse wildlife, and savor a delicious dinner.

Know before you go
- Accommodation is based on twin or double share at a 3-star hotel in Can Tho City (West Hotel or similar) and in Chau Doc Province (Paris Hotel or similar).
- The boat transfer to Phnom Penh may be replaced by a bus transfer, depending on real-time conditions.
- If your hotel is outside the central pick-up area, you’ll need to go to the meeting point.
- You are responsible for obtaining a Cambodian Visa on Arrival at the waterway checkpoint. Please prepare passport-sized photos, a passport valid for at least 6 months, and USD cash for the fee. Visa costs are not included in the tour price
- Day 3 starts at 06:00 AM with breakfast and check-out. Returning to Ho Chi Minh City around 17:00 PM.
- Note: For those continuing to Phnom Penh, the tour ends early at the boat drop-off point, and lunch is not included
- We recommend bringing maximum one medium-sized suitcase (up to 20kg/44lbs) and one small backpack for personal items per person.
